We have a history of more than 90 years since our foundation in Hamamatsu and a history of over 40 years since becoming a stock company. We realize every day that we have been fostered by local communities.
The name Kashima Coat is considered a synonym for our company and is derived from Sokonomitachi Shrine, which is located near our company. At this shrine, Takemikazuchi-no-mikoto, who is also the deity of Kashima Jingu, is enshrined and is affectionately known as Okashima-sama by the local people. When our former president asked the shrine whether we could borrow the name of the deity for the lubricating anodized coating that we developed independently, the shrine consented willingly to our request. Since then, we have been invited every year to the shrine ceremony and have maintained a good relationship.
We hope to continue to cherish the bonds with local communities. What we can do for local communities is to simply focus our humble efforts on the employment of excellent local human resources and actively participate in events to support the local communities. However, we hope to continue such activities in a state of constant gratitude.
